Here's the fabric! Now what to do with it!

This was one of the drill fabric's I bought for possibly making some overalls for my 13 month old...?

So I have quite a collection going at the moment... Just need the guts to actually dive in!! I think the hardest part is actually starting. I lack the confidence in knowing what stuff means so I take it out of the bags, stare at it and refold it. Then put it back in the bag and tie it up LOL Which really is a shame because I feel I have some lovely stuff. My connection isnt being very kind to me so I will come back tomorrow and add some photos! Thats another thing I do; take photos of all the lovely fabric hehe

OK so after years of prodding and poking, my great friend Rose has convinced me to dive into the wide and complicated world of sewing/quilting.

This past Christmas I finished my first project! I made my sister a reversible apron! There were many times I put it down and went back to it days later due to extreme frustration. Eventually I got it finished. I think she was quite impressed with it! We shall see if it makes it til next Christmas haha!

OK and I am eagerly awaiting a shipment of yummy romantic fabric from the http://www.fatquartershop.com/. I have ordered enough to make my very first quilt. I am hoping it comes in some time this week and I can get stuck into it! And no Rose I won't touch it without consulting you LOL

I also had a bright idea and popped into my local Lincraft and purchased 4 metres of Drill. What on earth would you need 4 metres for?? Well I want to make my 13 month old daughter a pair of overalls and couldnt decide which fabric to buy! I can see this turning into a very expensive hobby. I hope I have the staying power! I have so very much to learn.
