OK so after years of prodding and poking, my great friend Rose has convinced me to dive into the wide and complicated world of sewing/quilting.
This past Christmas I finished my first project! I made my sister a reversible apron! There were many times I put it down and went back to it days later due to extreme frustration. Eventually I got it finished. I think she was quite impressed with it! We shall see if it makes it til next Christmas haha!

OK and I am eagerly awaiting a shipment of yummy romantic fabric from the http://www.fatquartershop.com/. I have ordered enough to make my very first quilt. I am hoping it comes in some time this week and I can get stuck into it! And no Rose I won't touch it without consulting you LOL

I also had a bright idea and popped into my local Lincraft and purchased 4 metres of Drill. What on earth would you need 4 metres for?? Well I want to make my 13 month old daughter a pair of overalls and couldnt decide which fabric to buy! I can see this turning into a very expensive hobby. I hope I have the staying power! I have so very much to learn.
